Chapter 25a: Theories of knowledge

So many philosophies spring from and perpetuate dualism--experience v. reason, knowledge v. knowing, activity v. passivity, intellect v. emotions, and especially knowing v. doing. But dualisms disappear in presence of the idea of continuity--a prospective view that looks past both sides to where we are going, or can go.
